Blanc de Carsin

 

Blanc de Carsin is a dry white wine that is great for any day of the week, that’s why we sometimes call it our “Monday wine”. Made from our organic Sauvignon Blanc & Sémillon vineyards, we pick these grapes quite early during harvest for maintaining natural freshness and low alcohol. Then it’s whole-bunch pressed, cooled down for about 24 hours and then the fermentation takes place in a stainless steel tank. There’s a short maturation on lees for 3-4 months in the stainless steel tank before bottling in the winter.

This wine has fresh fruit aromas on the nose, on the palate this wine has aromas of apples and pears, also yellow plums and honey melon. Well balanced, fruity and fresh white wine. Blanc de Carsin makes a great aperitif, but we also recommend it to be served with oysters and other seafood, smoked salmon or veggie dishes of any kind. Nice pairing also with a smooth cauliflower soup. Yum!
