L’Aventure Nocturne, our nightly adventure, is Merlot in its purest form. This wine is picked by hand, fermented with natural yeasts in open-top vats and after alcoholic fermentation it matured in old oak barrels for 12 months. The wine is bottled without fining or filtering.

L’Aventure is made from our oldest organic Merlot parcel and the terroir is very rich in clay. It can make a very qualitative wine, but the soil is often also difficult to work with. This is a delicious wine with ripe fruit aromas such as blackberries and cherries, gentle spices too.

We recommend to enjoy this wine either on its own, just as it is, or put together with a delicious meal. Rich vegetarian dishes like melanzane alla parmigiana or veggie lasagne are Nea's personal favourites. Also, pastas and proper steaks are not bad with this either.
