LE FRUIT Enchanté

Le Fruit Enchanté means “the enchanted fruit” and this wine is quite atypical for Bordeaux. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are picked by hand, pressed and then fermented in old oak barrels with natural yeasts. The wine goes through its malolactic fermentation which brings richer, wider mouthfeel and creamy notes. Le Fruit Enchanté is matured in barrels for about 10 months and then bottled without fining or filtering.

Le Fruit Enchanté is rich and fruity white wine with aromas of ripe yellow fruits, also some creamy and toasty notes. It has a rich mouthfeel and the barrel ageing gives it a good support.

We recommend to enjoy this wine in good company and it’s quite easy to pair with food. Try scallops, fish or mussels, grilled chicken, sushi, spicy korean food, creamy pastas or with cheeses.

P.S. This wine used to be called Le Fruit Défendu, but we had to change it to avoid confusion with another product by the same name.
